Program Description

South Austin Solutions operates an SMS notification program to keep customers informed about their scheduled home service appointments. Messages are transactional in nature and are sent in connection with services you have requested.

SMS Terms of Service

Opt-In: When you submit a service request through our website contact form at southaustinappliances.com, you must check a required SMS consent checkbox before submitting. By checking the box and submitting the form, you explicitly consent to receive transactional text messages from South Austin Solutions at the mobile phone number you provided. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Message types include but are not limited to:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Technician en route notifications
  • Job completion confirmations
  • Service-related follow-up communications

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your scheduled services. You may receive up to 3โ€“5 messages per scheduled appointment. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-Out & Help Keywords

STOP Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
HELP Reply HELP to any message or call 512-621-4395 for assistance.
START Reply START to re-subscribe after opting out.

Supported Carriers

SMS messages are supported by all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Carrier support may vary. South Austin Solutions is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues.

Service Terms

By engaging South Austin Solutions for home services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and service address information
  • Allow reasonable access to the property for scheduled services
  • Review and sign any applicable service agreements before work begins
  • Contact us promptly if you need to reschedule or cancel

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations may be requested more than 24 hours before your scheduled service time. Cancellations received before that 24-hour mark are entitled to a 50% refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations received within 24 hours of the scheduled service time, or after that time has passed, forfeit the full deposit.

Rescheduling is permitted at no additional charge. The same 24-hour cancellation rule applies to your most recent scheduled time — rescheduling does not reset the cancellation window.

South Austin Solutions reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to grant exceptions to this policy in extraordinary circumstances. Any such exception is documented in writing and approved by an authorized representative.

Late Payment Fees

Final payments are due upon job completion. The following late fee schedule applies to unpaid balances:

  • Days 1–3 after completion: no fee (grace period)
  • Day 4: a $25 initial late fee is added to the balance
  • Days 5–14: an additional $5 per day is added to the balance
  • Days 15–30: an additional $10 per day is added to the balance
  • Day 30 and beyond: the account is referred to legal proceedings; no further automatic fees accrue

South Austin Solutions reserves the right to use any lawful means to collect outstanding balances, including small claims court or third-party collection services.

Limitation of Liability

South Austin Solutions provides home services on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for delays or issues outside our reasonable control. Any disputes related to services rendered will be addressed directly with South Austin Solutions prior to any external escalation.

Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing purposes unrelated to your service requests.
